Activities Overview -- Letter From Aubrey

-
Dear Family,

Only have a moment to write, but wanted to let you know that all of the activities are in the process of being planned. Many of you have accepted assignments to be in charge of these activities and others will be asked to assist them. No one person should become overwhelmed with their participation in these assignments. Each one of you should be able to relax and have fun with every activity... well, that's easier said than done, but we'll try.

Everyone has already helped so much, especially Karen. It's time for her to back away and have us take over. I have accepted the responsibility of coordinating the activities, so any information or reports should be directed to me, personally. That way no wires will get crossed and everything should be able to flow smoothly.

There are going to be so many fun activities. It's our intent to make these available to all who want to participate. You may pick and choose which you want to participate in, go shopping, sit on the porch, eat, play cards, or sleep........but, from the reports I've already gotten, you'll probably want to take part in as many as your poor bodies will allow.

Love you all.

Aubrey

Hello everyone,
I have been asked to coordinate, organize, and oversee the ROOK TOURNAMENT at the reunion. I will have plenty of time to get this done, but I would like all of you to be thinking of participating. I will need to compile a list of participants/teams. We can leave it up to each individual to pick partners or we can have a random draw for partners. Either way, I think there needs to be one exception to either plan. I would like to see dad and Allen team together since they are the "senior dogs" in this race. What are your thoughts?
Scott

Scott,

Regarding the Rook tournament, I just e-mailed you some ideas on the subject. And I agree that a Larry & Allan Duggan partnership is a must.

Well, you are AMAZING!!! Thanks for taking the time to do this, Bill. I can't believe how vivid the colors are in those gorgeous pics of the Tetons. Makes me want to learn to rock-climb (look out Daniel & Alex! ;-)

Wow...talk about tallent! Bill, you have done a superb job with the blog, and it is very much appreciated. It is wonderful to have so much information in one place. I must say that I definitely enjoyed the pictures also. Thank you for all the time you have invested in this.

P.S. Don't listen to Scott! I think it's wonderful when a wife can think she has a wonderful husband after so many years.

Happy Mother's Day! Look at your calendars everyone...only 5 WEEKS till our Family Reunion!!! It's still cool weather here, another storm front moving in tomorrow night and only highs in the 40's on Tuesday (hard to believe it's May!) so make sure to pack warm clothes in your suitcases. Dressing in layers is a MUST for Jackson Hole/ Yellowstone anytime of year and we don't want anyone freezing while you're here! Just looked at these beautiful pictures again, Bill, and I must say I can hardly wait for June to come. Thanks for keeping us updated with this wonderful blog. Love U~ Karen
